This hoya comes from Indonesia and it was described in 1917. Often is this hoya sold as ariadna, but that is an invalid name.
This hoya belongs to the Eriostemma group, which are not so easy to get in bloom. Unless you live in Hawaii...! It has light green leaves about 6-10 cm long, 4-6 cm wide and have a "sunken" center vein. It's a fast grower and best grown on a large support.
The flowers are cup shaped and dark maroon and up to 10 flowers in an umbel. The only description of the fragrance that I could find was "strong musk odour". We'll see when mine flowers! If it ever will...
